NEW YORK — May 18, 2026 — Ogilvy today announced the appointment of Samuel Heath as Global Executive Creative Director for Unilever. An award-winning creative leader with over two decades of experience at iconic agencies and brands like Wieden+Kennedy and Apple, Heath will drive creative ambition and excellence across Ogilvy’s long-standing partnership with Unilever's global portfolio. Based out of Ogilvy UK, he will report to Global Chief Creative Officer Liz Taylor.
Liz Taylor, Ogilvy's Global Chief Creative Officer, said: “Sam is exactly the kind of creative soul this role was made for. He has this extraordinary ability to place bold ideas at the very heart of business challenges — and to create brand stories that forge the deepest emotional connections. His craft, his strategic instinct, his heart, his talent, will no doubt take us to a whole new level with our beloved Unilever brands. We are endlessly thrilled for all the future magic we will make together.”
Heath said of his appointment: “To make work that wins awards is one thing. To make work that changes culture and the whole business of advertising is quite another. And to do so consistently year after year is unheard of. Ogilvy and Unilever have done exactly that — a partnership that stretches back to David Ogilvy himself — and I’m thrilled and more than a little awestruck to have been given the opportunity to continue that legacy and can only hope to live up to it.”
As Global Executive Creative Director for Unilever, Heath joins a legacy-making industry partnership, one that consistently delivers impactful results across some of Unilever’s most iconic global brands, including Dove, Vaseline and Hellman’s. Unilever recently topped the WARC Rankings 2026 as the number one advertiser across the Creative 100, Media 100, and Effective 100 categories. The enduring success of Dove’s Real Beauty platform, developed in partnership with Ogilvy over two decades, exemplifies marketing that drives significant societal impact and impressive commercial results. Most recently, Dove was named the number one brand in the WARC Media 100 for the third consecutive year, while Ogilvy’s campaign, “Real Beauty: How a Soap Brand Created a Global Self-Esteem Movement,” secured the top spot in the 2026 WARC Effective 100. Ogilvy’s creative leadership also extends to other Unilever brands, with campaigns like “Vaseline Verified” and “Transition Body Lotion” for Vaseline earning numerous top honors at prestigious awards such as Cannes Lions, the Clio Awards, and LIA.
Heath began his advertising career at Lowe Howard Spink after studying Law at Oxford University, followed by Fallon London before joining Wieden+Kennedy London, where he spent over a decade building his career and a notable canon of work, including creating Lurpak’s “Adventure Awaits” (earning three Cannes Gold Lions and a D&AD Yellow Pencil), Cravendale's “Cats with Thumbs” (voted ITV's Ad of the Year by the British public), and award-winning campaigns for Honda as Creative Director and copywriter for four years.
Heath then joined Apple’s in-house team in Cupertino as Global Creative Director, where he helped drive groundbreaking product-driven campaigns including “Go Time,” which repositioned Apple Watch as a sports watch and drove double-digit sales increases annually from its 2017 launch; “Unlock with a Look,” introducing Face ID with the iPhone X; and the accessibility campaign “The Greatest,” which won an Emmy for Outstanding Commercial. Across his career, Heath has accumulated over 100 creative awards — among them an Emmy, a Cannes Grand Prix, multiple D&AD Yellow Pencils, and a One Show Best of Show.
