Frankfurt, July 9, 2025 – As part of its strategic realignment and enhanced collaboration among its brands Ogilvy, thjnk, loved, INGO Hamburg, and Social.Lab, the Ogilvy Group Germany is making a significant personnel decision. Moving forward, the agency group will serve its clients both strategically and economically from decentralized flagship locations in Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Munich, Zurich, and Vienna. Effective immediately, Roland Stauber will assume the role of Managing Director, Client Services, while Frank Tavidde takes on the position of Managing Partner, Head of Planning at Ogilvy Group Germany’s Frankfurt office. This new leadership marks an important first step in the flagship structure, with further details about other locations to be announced in due course.
This personnel decision underscores Ogilvy's commitment to strengthening its clients' brand work and strategic brand management in the new era of AI, while continuing to elevate the high standard of its creative output. "We are convinced that with Frank Tavidde and Roland Stauber, we have secured two outstanding leaders for Ogilvy Frankfurt who embody our company culture and represent the values that have defined Ogilvy for decades: 'Do the right thing,' 'Do the best thing of your life,' and 'Do it together,'" said Chris Jungjohann, CEO of Ogilvy Group Germany. "I can fully rely on them to deliver exceptional work for our clients with their teams in Frankfurt. Both have my complete trust, and I am grateful for their dedication to Ogilvy."
Roland Stauber and Frank Tavidde bring a wealth of experience to their new roles. Roland Stauber has successfully managed the major client Deutsche Bahn for many years, while Frank Tavidde has served as a key strategic partner for clients such as Audi and the Radeberger Group. Their expertise will be instrumental in guiding teams and clients into the AI era. The Frankfurt office is built on three pillars: Advertising, CRM and Loyalty, and Consulting. Its integrated setup allows seamless alignment across all communication disciplines—from advertising to CRM to consulting. The high standards for creative output are ensured by a strong team and close collaboration with the Frankfurt Creative Council. This council, comprising Sinya Horwedel, Lars Huvart, and Peter Römmelt, is responsible for maintaining creative excellence at the location and curating new AI-driven processes.
Ogilvy positions itself as a Creative Company with the primary goal of creating impact for brands and people—measured through creative excellence and marketing effectiveness. Stauber and Tavidde are tasked with further solidifying and expanding this mission. A central focus lies on the agency's "Future Readiness." The aim is to harness the full potential of creativity with AI support and enable collaborative work between clients and the agency on the WPP Open platform. The successful transition into the AI era is intended to be seen as an opportunity rather than a threat for employees and clients. Initial experiences with the AI platform have already been gained through pitches and specialized client workshops.
A significant portion of Tavidde and Stauber's efforts will also go toward driving new business opportunities and setting fresh impulses. Particular emphasis will be placed on strategic rejuvenation and fostering the next generation of talent. Ogilvy has long been regarded as a talent incubator for the industry. With their extensive experience, Roland Stauber and Frank Tavidde will mentor and support young talents on their career paths, helping to develop a new generation of high potentials and lead them to the top.
Both leaders are aware of the challenging times ahead and are relying on a clear formula: impactful campaigns based on outstanding strategies, executed by strong teams and talented individuals. AI will play a crucial role in making processes faster, more accurate, and more efficient.
