Magalu, Brazil's biggest retailer, has now created the world's biggest virtual influencer: Lu. Lu was "born" in 2003 as the in-store voice of Magazine Luiza's Commerce site. Now, Magalu and Ogilvy São Paulo have teamed together to turn Lu into an influencer, appearing on live TV shows, in popular music videos, and creating content for some of the world's biggest brands—all while being the face of the brand and increasing the brand's presence and value.
