PAOK, Northern Greece’s beloved football club, celebrated its 100th anniversary with a campaign marking both the centenary and the launch of Superbet in Greece. Created by Ogilvy Greece, the film was made for PAOK’s most loyal fans and centered on the club’s first anthem, written in 1927 and still sung by Academy children before matches. Rooted in PAOK’s refugee heritage and Thessaloniki pride, the anthem connects the club’s past, present and future. In the film, four homegrown players deliver an oath of victory before a match at Toumba Stadium, while the story expands into a cinematic tribute to the club’s history, supporters and city. The film went viral, becoming an emotional celebration of identity, memory and belonging.
