To launch the EQE - Mercedes-Benz’s high-end, fully electric sedan – in China, German automaker Mercedes-Benz joined hands with Ogilvy Beijing to create an immersive 1st-person experience, captured in a 14-minute animated film released on August 24th.

As part of the launch, the brand introduced its Future Tech Officer, named Mercedes, an ultra-realistic virtual brand ambassador that guides viewers through an exciting all-electric journey, introducing the EQE’s cutting-edge features, but also Mercedes-Benz’s proprietary EVA platform and smart manufacturing facilities in Beijing. The virtual ambassador acts as a powerful bridge between the brand and Chinese consumers, reflecting Mercedes-Benz’s pioneering spirit and longstanding commitment to technological innovation.
