Chief Strategy Officer, Greater China
Mickey Chak is Chief Strategy Officer for Ogilvy Greater China. In this role, he oversees the work of strategic teams in the region and is responsible for a variety of brand development and communication projects for a roster of international and local clients.
Mickey first joined Ogilvy in 1994 and was appointed Chief Strategy Officer, Greater China in 2007. He leads a strong team of planners that work to uncover and decipher consumer insights to formulate brand-building strategies for a wide range of clients from telco to retail, corporate to FMCG, MNC to local SMEs. On top of client projects, Mickey regularly participates in agency-initiated regional and global projects to develop proprietary knowledge on brand building and consumer insights, including the “Branding State” destination branding practice, “China Outbound” and other research projects.
Under his leadership, Ogilvy has been consistently recognized at top local and regional effectiveness awards shows, including the Effie Greater China.
Mickey is regularly invited to participate in internal and external training programs, brand-building and communications forums in the region as guest lecturer and speaker. He is a graduate of Parson School of Design in New York.
Chief Growth Officer, China
In her role as Chief Growth Officer, Angel Chen is responsible for business and product development, service innovation and platform partnerships. Based in Beijing, she works with clients on their business transformation and ensure they have access to the best resources available across the Ogilvy network for maximum growth and impact.
Angel started her career in digital marketing in 1996. As Marketing Director of Chinaren.com, a leading youth community site, she drove rapid business growth and allowed the company to enter China’s Internet Network Information Center’s top 10 ranking within a year. In 2000, she joined OgilvyOne, establishing her digital marketing and CRM expertise for the next 13 years, making her way up from Business Director to President of OgilvyOne China. She built and led a high-performing team, driving new strategic offerings to help clients adjust to the digital ecosystem through creative content, technology, user experience, data and CRM services. In 2012, OgilvyOne China was awarded Campaign Asia's Office of the Year.
In 2013, Angel Chen started an exciting entrepreneurial journey and founded her own education business Glocal School, helping tens of thousands of Chinese children grow up in real classrooms to understand China and the world. Starting from scratch, she led the business to become one of China's most influential mid-to-high-end education brands. In October 2021, Angel returned to Ogilvy as the Chief Growth Officer for Ogilvy China. She brings over 20 years of experience in digital marketing and brand strategy, leveraging her strong entrepreneurial mindset to help global and local clients drive growth and impact.
Managing Director, Shenzhen
Since 2017, Angela Chou serves as Managing Director of Ogilvy Shenzhen, where she is responsible for creating brand agendas that help Chinese companies realize their global ambitions.
Angela first joined Ogilvy in 1998 as an Account Executive for OgilvyOne in Taipei where she gained thorough experience in global marketing management, leading localization campaigns for various telecommunications and IT clients.
In 2007, she relocated to Shanghai to join Ogilvy Interactive where she helped brands refine their eCommerce operations by developing digital solutions focused on lead generation and conversion.
In 2013, Angela joined WPP Team Huawei, responsible for the brand’s strategic marketing and pan-network business. In this role, she also assists Huawei in pursuing its brand globalization agenda while ensuring that the Huawei brand essence is infused across each business unit’s daily marketing activities.
Angela has participated in a number of campaigns that earned top honors at domestic and international award shows including Cannes Lions, Effie and One Show.

Fei Wei is Group Executive Creative Director for Ogilvy Shanghai, overseeing creative development for a roster of local and international clients, a role he has held since 2018.
An advertising veteran with over 20 years of experience, Fei Wei first joined Ogilvy in 2011, leading the creative output for the Shanghai office’s digital business as Head of Digital; he rejoined the Ogilvy network in 2018. Fei Wei has an exceptional track record in developing influential marketing campaigns for brands in the automobile, FMCG, consumer electronics and travel industries.
He is a firm believer in leveraging the combined power of creativity and technology to create work that best resonates with today’s increasingly sophisticated consumers and delivers business results for clients.
Chief Delivery Officer, North Asia
Remington is currently the Chief Delivery Officer of Ogilvy North Asia, responsible for the integration of Ogilvy's Asia Pacific operations, production, project management, technology and investments. He is a seasoned and highly networked marketer, technologist, investor and entrepreneur.
Prior to joining Ogilvy, Remington served as the founding partner of JUUL China, board member and Chief Strategy Officer of Xiaoheng Dumplings, and Head of Portfolio Management of ZhenFund.

Frangelica joined Ogilvy Public Relations in 2007 and is now Managing Director of Ogilvy Guangzhou. In this role she is responsible for the development of brand strategy, advertising, PR & Influence, digital transformation and strategic partnerships across South China, as well as the promotion of the integration of the Ogilvy Group’s business in the Greater Bay Area.

Dahai has served as Deputy General Manager of Ogilvy Qingdao since August 2015, a role where he is responsible for brand strategy, advertising, and digital transformation.
Dahai first joined Ogilvy in 2011 to build and oversee the operations of the Qingdao office. He leverages his extensive experience in brand management and product marketing to provide clients with effective brand strategy and marketing solutions. Sandy Ng is the President of Ogilvy's Consulting business in China, a role where she oversees the agency’s digital transformation and business innovation offerings to empower brands in today’s fragmented economy.
Sandy first joined Ogilvy Hong Kong in 1994 and has been with the company ever since, holding several management positions in across the Greater China network. With over 25 years of experience in the advertising industry, Sandy has an extensive track record of leading brand planning projects for brands across the FMCG, consumer electronics, automobile, pharmaceuticals and real estate sectors.
In her current capacity of President for Ogilvy China's Consulting business, Sandy helps a wide spectrum of MNCs and local brands with their digital transformation strategy needs, leveraging emerging technologies to create data-driven digital experiences and business innovation roadmaps.

Melinda Po is the President of Advertising for Ogilvy China, working closely with the CEO, Asia and Greater China, and office heads to build Ogilvy’s leadership in brand strategy and creative reputation. She is responsible for expanding the agency’s offering by building modern capabilities in content, data and technology, enabling clients to cut through the noise in an age of information overload, and secure growth in China’s fast-evolving marketplace.
Melinda is a business leader with more than 20 years of experience in advertising . She first joined OgilvyOne Taiwan in 2004, gaining valuable expertise in CRM and digital experience in what were the early days of digital marketing. During her 7-year stint, she also developed agency management experience with numerous global automobile, airline, consumer electronics and CPG brands. Melinda then relocated to Shanghai where she worked as Managing Partner, building a strong portfolio of international clients across the FMCG, retail, automobile and cosmetics sectors. She officially rejoined the Ogilvy Group in May 2021.
Melinda is actively involved in driving diversity and inclusiveness, particularly with regards to female engagement in leadership roles. Chris is Chief Executive Officer for the Ogilvy Group in Asia, with responsibilities for the strategic development and daily operations of the agency across 14 markets. He is a member of Ogilvy’s Worldwide Executive Leadership Board and is also a Global Client Leader for WPP, overseeing global key client relationships across WPP.
In 2021, under Chris’s leadership, Ogilvy was named Creative, PR and Digital Network of the Year in Asia by Campaign Asia. In 2017 he was named Asia Pacific Agency Head of the Year. Ogilvy was the first agency in China to win a Grand Prix in Cannes and has been consistently one of the most awarded agencies in Asia.
Over the last two decades Chris has held several senior management positions in various offices within the Ogilvy Group, running local offices, regional and worldwide clients and regional units such as Ogilvy & Mather Advertising.
Chris is currently Chairman of the Effie Asia Pacific Council. He is an active investor in the Chinese internet scene and sits on several boards. He is currently an independent Board Member of Babytree (1761.HK), a Supervisory Board member of windeln.de (WDL.DE) and an advisor to WGI (wgihq.org), an NGO focusing on international education.

T.B. Song is an advertising expert with more than 50 years of experience working in the communication sector, including over 40 years serving Ogilvy.
He started his foray into the world of advertising in the 1970s in Taiwan. In 1991, he was appointed Chairman of Ogilvy China. Starting from Shanghai, he expanded Ogilvy’s market share in the mainland. In 1994, he was appointed Chairman of Ogilvy Greater China, overseeing offices in the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. In 1998, he joined the worldwide board of Ogilvy.
In 2006, he co-founded China 4A (Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of China) and is one of the organization’s lifelong advisors.

Arvind is the Chief Strategy Officer of Ogilvy China where he leads a modern strategy department of nearly 50 brand, social, data, CRM, ecommerce and engagement strategists who work and complement each other to solve client problems and make their business grow.
Arvind has spent nearly 18 years with Ogilvy Asia where he has worked across different markets and strategic planning roles including Ogilvy’s Regional Planning Director, Group Chief Strategy Officer for Malaysia, Co-Head of Planning for the Delhi office and served a two-year stint as Chief Strategy Officer-Asia at Ogilvy’s second agency Bates CHI & Partners.
In July 2019, in addition to his role in China, he was promoted and given responsibility as Head of Strategy-Advertising for Ogilvy Asia with a remit to work with strategy and creative teams across the region to interpret and drive advertising in the modern, data-led digital age.
Arvind has extensive expertise across a wide range of client sectors, ranging from banking and telecommunications to FMGC.
Arvind has won, and led his teams to win, every major effectiveness award including AME, Effie, WARC, and the IPA of UK. He has been acknowledged as a planner on several award-winning campaigns at Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia, Kancils (Malaysia) and The Abby Awards (India). Arvind has served as a regular jury for various industry awards like the APAC Effie and WARC Prize for Asian Strategy, and has been a past Guest Speaker at the World Effie Festival.

Stella is a seasoned professional with 20 years of talent development and management experience. As the Chief Talent Officer of Ogilvy China and Regional Director of Talent Acquisition and Mobility, Asia, she is responsible for the strategic development and daily operation of the Talent Function of the company, promoting the global mobility of Asia-based talents, while actively building and maintaining Ogilvy’s Employer Brand. With her in-depth knowledge of human resources, marketing and keen eye for talent have served Stella has successfully led the business and management transformation of Ogilvy over the years.
Stella joined Ogilvy back in 2003, as one of the first members of the Talent team in Beijing. Over the years, she drove the continuous optimization and development of the talent function, devoting great enthusiasm and efforts to talent strategy, organizational development, talent acquisition and retention, leadership development, and employer branding.
Stella took up the role of Chief Talent Officer, Ogilvy China in 2018. In this position, she closely works with China management team to ensure a consistent talent strategy across all China offices. Janet Tsai joined The Ogilvy Group in Taipei in 2001 and relocated to Shanghai in 2005.
Janet has extensive experience in practicing the brand building & positioning, issue & crisis management, and integrated content planning & implementation. She has/had served clients from the sectors of real-estate landmark, technology, finance, auto, entertainment, fashion and luxury.
Apart from her role in providing client service, she also looks after the company’s Marketing & Communications in China. She is the key lead on developing the business strategy in bringing the Chinese brands going global in the network.

Stephen Wai is Chief Financial Officer, Greater China, a position he has held since joining Ogilvy in 2005.
Prior to that, Stephen worked for leading consulting firms and investment companies where, in addition to financial experience, he gained a wealth of knowledge in sales and marketing strategies.

Tom is President of Experience for Ogilvy China. In this role, he is responsible for growing the firm’s capabilities and product offerings, including social CRM, commerce, data and marketing technology.
Tom first joined Ogilvy in 2004 , playing an important role in the launch of Ogilvy’s digital innovation practice in China. He went on to hold a number of local and regional leadership positions within the network before being named Managing Director, Global Brand Management, a role which saw him work with a wide range of global FMCG, retail and technology brands. He brings over 26 years of experience in media, brand and digital marketing across China, Asia and the US.

Wendy rejoined the Ogilvy Group in 2007 and is now overseeing Ogilvy China’s healthcare practice.
As a veteran in the healthcare communications industry, Wendy has hybrid experience spanning both HCP and consumer targets as well as all channels of execution, including brand building, PR and activation. She has led numerous integrated campaigns covering a wide variety of different healthcare disciplines, such as cardiovascular, diabetes, GI, oncology, hepatitis, infection diseases, dermatology, respiratory, nutrition, medical devices, HIV, depression and gynecology.
Wendy graduated from the Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University and has over the past 20 years helped both international and local healthcare brands with their communications effort in China.

A 20-year industry veteran with experience in both traditional and digital advertising, Yanyan is among the most recognized creative talent in China.
She started her career at Ogilvy in 1998, building her creative experience to eventually be appointed as Executive Creative Director of OgilvyOne in 2010, known for her strong ideation capabilities and high-quality craftsmanship. Starting January 2022, Yanyan Yang rejoined the agency as Group Executive Creative Director, responsible for developing the creative capability of Ogilvy Beijing, with a particular focus on digital campaigns.
Prior to this role, Yanyan worked as Chief Creative Expert for China’s top tech companies Tencent and Baidu, where she explored the role of scientific data to empower industry creativity and drive marketing effectiveness.
Yanyan is an experienced manager with a strong business acumen centered around logical thinking. During her 16-year tenure at OgilvyOne, she built a best-in-class creative team from the ground up; and while she was in Tencent, she rebuilt the entire working flow to ensure a better integration between creative + effectiveness, all enabled by data.

Yong Yuan joined Ogilvy in 2011 and is currently the President of Ogilvy Shanghai, heading the office’s daily operations.

Joe Yu has served as Group Managing Director, Ogilvy Beijing since 2018, and President, Public Relations, China since 2019. In this role, he is responsible for key client counsel, issue/crisis counseling, communications/crisis training and the growth of Ogilvy’s Public Relations business.
Joe first joined Ogilvy in 1999 in Taipei as General Manager at Era Ogilvy Public Relations. He relocated to mainland China in 2008 as Managing Director of H-Line Ogilvy before taking his current role in 2018. With over 20 years of experience in tech marketing, public relations and business operations Joe specializes in developing staff, enhancing operations, and driving strategy and execution for some of the world’s leading technology, infrastructure, finance, retail, and healthcare brands.
A certified executive coach with the International Coach Federation, Joe is an accomplished facilitator, helping domestic and international clients design and implement crisis management systems, risk assessment and alert mechanisms, stakeholder mapping, crisis response protocols, and reputation recovery plans.
Joe holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the National Cheng Chi University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Yuan Ze University.

Adrian is the Group Executive Creative Director of Ogilvy Beijing, where he is responsible for integrating and mobilizing all creative resources to support clients’ needs in today’s fast-changing business landscape. An important part of his role also includes cultivating and training young talent to maintain Ogilvy’s unique creative culture.
Adrian first joined Ogilvy Beijing in 1994, becoming the first local creative director of the agency at the time. With close to 30 years of experience in the advertising industry, Adrian has an extensive track record of delivering effective creative campaigns for both international and local brands. Over the course of his career, he has helped a vast range of clients in the FMCG, automobile, telecommunications and technology sectors, with both traditional advertising and digital-led solutions. In 2013, Adrian returned to Ogilvy and was appointed Group Executive Creative Director in 2017.
Adrian’s work has been recognized at prestigious international and local creative awards including Cannes Lions, AdFest and China 4A Golden Seal Awards. Adrian is an active member of the advertising community, being regularly invited to join the judging panel of leading advertising awards and to share his abundant expertise in articles for creative/advertising magazines. Thomas is Group Executive Creative Director at Ogilvy Shanghai. In this role, he is responsible for Ogilvy Shanghai’s creative work, which includes leading creative teams to provide innovative, growth-generating solutions to clients and effectively assert their influence on local and global markets.
An advertising veteran with over 25 years of creative experience, Thomas joined Ogilvy Shanghai in 2011, helping brands from a wide range of industries including FMCG, automobile, fashion, sports, home appliances, internet and technology.
Passionate about copywriting, Thomas had a dedicated column in a local fashion magazine for a year. His work has landed many international and regional awards including D&AD, One Show, Cannes Lions, Clio, AdFest.
