Last Tree Standing Greenpeace

Białoweża Forest is the last primeval forest in Europe. Illegal logging was taking place there, and the government closed the forest down to visitors. To draw attention to the issue, we recreated the forest as a 1:1 scale Minecraft map, featuring 17 million trees made of 50 million blocks. The gaming community loved it and it was used in schools and art installations…but then we took it away.
