The recent pandemic resulted in a decreased focus on other diseases and the importance of preventative measures. From July to September 2021, Ogilvy Social.Lab and MSD Belgium collaborated on a campaign entitled #YourSkinSharesYourLife to raise awareness about melanoma.
This multi-channel campaign aimed to redirect people's attention to skincare and educate them on how to identify unusual spots, while also reinforcing the importance of regular skin check-ups.
In addition to driving the targeted audience to a dedicated website for further information, #YourSkinSharesYourLife partnered with 10 Belgian influencers – five French speakers and five Dutch speakers. These influencers encouraged users to ask questions using the question sticker feature, and in a unique collaboration with medical practitioners, the influencers provided answers to their followers.
