How do you honour Asian dads who rarely say "I love you"? MILO found the answer hiding in its own barcode. Look closely and there's a tiny illustration of two people playing basketball, a detail almost no one had noticed. Ogilvy Vietnam and MILO turned it into ‘Ba codes of Love’, a Father's Day tribute to the quiet ways Asian dads show they care. A clever play on words too, since "ba" means dad in Vietnamese. To bring it to life, the team hand-drew nearly 300 illustrations and photographed them frame by frame into a stop-motion film. Small actions repeated over time, just like a father's love.
