Nobody ever heard of William Arden, Jane Leigh or Oscar Elgee, but they are, in fact, some of the world’s most famous authors. To celebrate International Women's Day and to launch a conversation about representation and dated gender norms, Penguin Random House created a limited edition series of books where the authors' name on the cover of each book appears with their mother's surname, rather than their father's.
