How Male and Female Execs See Gender in the Boardroom

Despite increased awareness, conversation and initiatives over the past few years, the boardroom remains an overwhelmingly male place. New research from the Women’s Forum of New York illustrates the difference between how male and female executives view gender in the boardroom.
Most strikingly, female business executives are significantly more likely than their male counterparts to agree that gender inequality in the boardroom: 74% of female executives surveyed (executives from the United States) view the inequality as a problem, while just 43% of males do.
