Paul Matheson

Regional President Strategy and Planning Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific

Beyond a two year interlude in New York, Paul has been with Ogilvy & Mather since September 2004, originally as Regional Planning Director South East Asia but now as Regional President of Strategy & Planning across all group companies.

Prior to Asia, Paul was with BBH in London and New York for a little over eight years. At BBH, Paul was the global planner on Unilever’s phenomenally successful male deodorant Lynx/Axe, helped bring Johnnie Walker’s ‘Keep Walking’ campaign to the US, and also was part of the team that launched ING DIRECT to tremendous success in the American market.

Paul’s role in Asia encompasses training and development of over 140 planners in the Asia region, as well as recruitment, business development and senior client engagement.
