Fernando Musa is the new CEO of the Ogilvy Group Brazil

São Paulo, Brazil, March 24, 2017 — Ogilvy Brazil Group announced today that Fernando Musa has been appointed by Worldwide CEO John Seifert to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Musa takes over the role from Sergio Amado, who held the role of CEO for two decades and will retain his role as Chairman. Mr. Musa has spent 21 years at Ogilvy Brazil and has helped build the agency into the highly-acclaimed company it is today.

Mr. Musa began his career at Ogilvy in 1995. In 2011, he was named CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Brazil. Referred to as being among the top talents of the new generation of the advertising industry, he is one of the professionals behind the recent renovation of Ogilvy. He had led numerous important client victories that have driven the company’s business and spurred many big creative ideas, which helped garner 107 Lions at the Cannes Festival between 2010 and 2016.
