Supplier Diversity

Our Mission

Ogilvy is committed to building a more diverse and inclusive workplace, and that commitment extends to the suppliers from whom we purchase goods and services. To increase the opportunities that diversity suppliers have to work with Ogilvy, we have put in place a Supplier Diversity Program.

Ogilvy Procurement Guidelines

The vendor selection and procurement process for Ogilvy North America is based on individual department needs. We have key decision makers in nearly a dozen departments, and each department has its own specifications and requirements. Prospective vendors must satisfy our Purchasing Guidelines, which require buying decisions and vendor selections to be based on "total evaluated costs," allowing us to keep costs to a minimum, thereby increasing our value to our clients.

Eligibility

To participate in Ogilvy's supplier diversity program, a supplier must be certified by one of the approved third-party agency listed below:

In addition, a company must be fiscally sound with a good financial track record. We also consider the quality of the products and services offered, the suppliers' productive capacity, their industry experience, technical competence and prior performance at Ogilvy.

How to Become an Ogilvy Supplier

Ogilvy Supplier Diversity maintains an internal directory, which is used as a reference tool to identify diverse suppliers for potential procurement opportunities. We require third-party certification for diverse suppliers to be included in the directory.

Please ensure that your company is certified as a diverse supplier by a third-party before soliciting business with Ogilvy Supplier Diversity.

To Apply:

  1. Complete the Diverse Supplier Registration Form. Please be as detailed as possible. If your company specializes in a certain product or service above your other offerings, please be sure to highlight that product or service.
  2. Submit a copy of your certification(s) electronically in PDF, TIF or JPEG format. However, please ensure that the graphic is sized appropriately for printing.
  3. Send directly to the decision maker department head responsible for your area of expertise any supporting documentation you deem necessary. This would include brochures, portfolio, presentations, articles, etc.

Ogilvy will conduct a review process and evaluate your submission based on our clients' requirements, as well as our core values and vendor quality standards.
