BRIAN FETHERSTONHAUGH
Chairman and CEO, OgilvyOne Worldwide

A veteran practitioner of Ogilvy's 360 Degree brand building philosophy, Brian is now the global Chairman and CEO of OgilvyOne, the company's direct marketing, interactive, and consulting arm.

Brian began his career on the client side at Procter & Gamble, and then grew up through the ranks at Ogilvy. He became President of Ogilvy Canada in 1994, and three years later took on global leadership of the flagship IBM account.

The Ogilvy-IBM partnership has been a very productive one. Together, the client-agency team has won more than 20 EFFIE awards for communications effectiveness, and contributed to a $50 billion increase in IBM's brand value. In 2000, Brian was named to the Ogilvy Worldwide Board and began to expand his responsibilities beyond IBM. In 2002, Brian was named Chairman of the Global Brand Community, representing Ogilvy's 20 largest clients, and was appointed to the Executive Committee of the Worldwide Board.

As Chairman and CEO of OgilvyOne, Brian leads a network of over 3,500 direct marketing and interactive specialists in over 110 offices around the world.

OgilvyOne has deep knowledge of customer acquisition, customer activation, customer retention and the pursuit of bonded customer relationships. The company is a global leader in interactive marketing including strategy, creative, metrics, and Internet media.

Born and raised in Montreal, Brian graduated from the McGill University Business School. Brian is married to Chris and has two daughters, Claire (19) and Alison (16). He plays ice hockey every Sunday night and has recently joined a local rock band-aptly named 'Plan B'.
