Ogilvy Tops 2010 Effectiveness League

Ogilvy & Mather has been recognized as the most sales effective agency network in the world in the first Effie/Warc effectiveness league table.

The ranking is based on the number of winners and finalists in Effie competitions worldwide*. The results were revealed at Cannes on 23 June. Ogilvy won 95 points, followed by BBDO (87) and McCann (53).

There is a strong correlation between creativity and effectiveness. Recent research has shown that on average highly creative campaigns grow a brand's market share 11 times more at the same weight. Tham Khai Meng, worldwide chief creative officer at Ogilvy & Mather, commented: "In many ways this is the most prestigious and gratifying endorsement of our agency's creative work that we could receive."
