The World Economic Forum (the Forum) has selected Ogilvy Public Relations/Beijing as its PR partner for its Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC) in Tianjin, China this year, marking the sixth year that the agency has been appointed to serve the prestigious global business gathering in Asia. The three-day event, under the theme "Creating the Future Economy," opens on September 11 and joins together leaders from government, business, academia, civil society and the media to debate and discuss issues of significant importance to the world.
Ogilvy PR will support the Forum's Media Team with Chinese and international media relations and hosting, manage web and social media activities, as well as provide on-site support during the conference. The agency was chosen because of its successful delivery of past Forum meetings, deep understanding of the Chinese and international media and local market nuances, and broad expertise in large-scale events management in China.
