CHICAGO, October 13, 2013 — OgilvyOne Worldwide tonight received the 2013 Corporate Leadership Award by Marketing EDGE, formerly known as the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation (DMEF). Brian Fetherstonhaugh, Chairman & CEO of OgilvyOne Worldwide, accepted the award on behalf of the world's leading customer engagement agency.

The Corporate Leadership Award honors businesses that champion education on all levels — including internal and external audiences — as they consistently demonstrate a commitment to excellence industry-wide. OgilvyOne Worldwide has been a long-time supporter of education and skills development both in-house and beyond their internal initiatives to support the industry as a whole, as part of a broader commitment to prevent future skills shortages and to contribute to long-term economic prosperity in the countries where they operate.

Upon accepting the award, Brian Fetherstonhaugh expressed his gratitude to Marketing EDGE and offered some advice for people starting their careers: "It's a marathon, not a sprint. It's more important to have great choices in your 40s than to drive at BMW to your fifth year college reunion."

More than 400 business executives attended the Marketing EDGE Annual Awards dinner and presentation. Proceeds from the evening benefit thousands of students through cutting-edge resources in education and job placement programs among colleges and universities nationwide. Harold "Hal" M. Brierley, Executive Chairman of Brierley+Partners, was also honored by Marketing EDGE, receiving the Edward N. Mayer, Jr. Education Leadership Award.
