Buenos Aires, November 2014 - Ogilvy & Mather Latina has been recognised once again as Network of the Year at the 17th edition of El Ojo de Iberoamerica. It is the first time in the festival's history that a single agency network wins this award five consecutive times.
In addition to winning the big prize of the night, the network earned best agency honors in Mexico, Brazil, and Columbia. Moreover, three of the top six agencies in the festival were Ogilvy & Mather offices.
O&M Latina won 3 Grand Prix, 29 Golds, 41 Silvers, and 27 Bronzes, a record for both the agency and the festival as a whole.
The Network has been on a global winning streak. In 2014 alone, the network won Network of the Year honors at Clios, One Show, Cannes, Spikes, and now El Ojo as well. This is representative of both the global strength of the network and its spirit of Pervasive Creativity.
"Tham Khai Meng, our Worldwide Chief Creative Officer, told us in 2009 that our region was a giant just waiting to wake up. I am so proud to see just how right Khai is. Each of our offices sets a standard throughout the region, and that is because of the courage of our colleagues and our clients. This victory belongs to them. They not only inspire us to make the work outstanding, but they also inspire us to take the creative risks that make our region so successful", commented Gastón Bigio, Regional Creative Director and Marcos Golfari, CEO and Chairman of Ogilvy & Mather Latina.
