NEW YORK, November 13, 2014 - Last night’s Caples Awards was cause for a double celebration for OgilvyOne: Brian Fetherstonhaugh, Chairman and CEO, received the prestigious Andi Emerson award while the agency scooped 11 awards, including two Gold.
The Andi Emerson Award, named for the Caples' founder, is presented each year to an individual who has contributed outstanding service to the direct marketing community. Fetherstonhaugh was the sole honoree of this award and, living up to his “true rock star reputation,” entertained the audience with a blues harmonica solo.
Ogilvy received 11 Caples Awards, which honor the best in digital, direct and interactive marketing from around the world. Gold was awarded to Ogilvy Amsterdam and DELA for “Beautiful Ending” and Ogilvy New Zealand and Royal Forest & Bird Protection Society of New Zealand for Make A Difference, plus six Silver and five Bronze awards.
