Ogilvy & Mather returns to SXSWi with visually inspiring Ogilvy Notes

Graphic Artists Chronicle Daily Ideas and Insights at Leading Interactive Conference

New York, March 6, 2012 – For the second year in a row, Ogilvy & Mather is sending skilled “note taking” artists to SXSW Interactive (SXSWi) http://sxsw.com/interactive to create visual representations of sessions and events throughout the five day conference to be published daily on newly designed Ogilvy Notes http://www.ogilvynotes.com/.

“Ogilvy Notes is about transforming the big ideas at SXSWi into a day-by-day visual notes and providing value while extending the conversation beyond the conference. Last year’s launch was incredibly successful and this year we’re expanding the program to enhance engagement among attendees and the greater social community by partnering with Behance, BuzzFeed, and Percolate,” said Jordan Berkowitz, Executive Director of Creative Technology at Ogilvy & Mather.

In 2011, Ogilvy & Mather established Ogilvy Notes to facilitate conversation and develop a community platform to share thoughts and ideas from SXSWi by capturing key messages and lessons from over 100 presentations with daily thought-picture blog posts. This innovative program established by Ogilvy & Mather provides the red thread for those unable to attend the SXSWi experience in a fun and unusual way while giving a creative outlet for attendees to reflect on insights from the many events and happenings.

This year’s graphic experts heading to SXSW include Nora Herting, Heather Willems, Liisa Sorsa and Andrew Federman. Ogilvy Notes will be located at The SXSW Day Stage, and attending such presentations as, Fireside Chat with Vic Gundotra on Google+, Hunt or Be Hunted: Get the Design Job You Want and Digital Debauchery with Anthony Bourdain, and Expanding Our Intelligence Without Limit with Ray Kurzweil. In addition, experts from newly launched specialties, Social@Ogilvy and Ogilvy Youth, will also be participating in SXSWi.
