Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide was also nominated as a finalist in the Best Interactive Patient Campaign category.
The Med Ad News Manny Awards, widely renowned in the healthcare industry and celebrating their 22nd year, recognize the most successful, creative and innovative agencies in pharmaceutical and healthcare advertising. The Med Ad News staff selects the Industry Person of the Year by reviewing all agency/network nominations submitted highlighting individuals known for their contributions and dedication to healthcare communications. This year’s competition had the most nominations entered since the award’s inception.
Mr. Giegerich will be recognized as 2011’s Industry Person of the Year and winners in all Manny Award categories will be announced on Thursday, April 28, at the Manny Awards ceremony, to be held at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers in New York City.
