Ogilvy & Mather Brasil crowned Agency of the Year at 60th Cannes Lions Festival

Dove 'Beauty Sketches' leads the way for victorious Brazilian team

CANNES, France, 22 June 2013 - Ogilvy & Mather Brasil (Sao Paulo) has won the prestigious title of Agency of the Year at the 60th Anniversary Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, taking home a total haul of 34 Lions, in the Brazilian agency's greatest year at Cannes.

Tonight, at the final awards ceremony, Ogilvy Brasil collected a further 3 Gold Lions, as well as the global network's first Titanium and Integrated Grand Prix.

Boy and his atomAll three of today's Golds, as well as the Grand Prix, were won for the illustrious Dove 'Real Beauty Sketches' campaign, in the Film, and Branded Content & Entertainment Categories. As well as its Grand Prix, Dove 'Real Beauty Sketches' has taken home 8 Gold, 3 Sliver, and 4 Bronze Lions, with 16 awards in total this week, making it Ogilvy's single most awarded campaign for 2013. The agency also collected a Bronze Lion today for 'Crazy for Good' for Coca Cola.

Throughout the week, Ogilvy Brasil has won Gold Lions for:

 *   Red Balloon, 'Celeb Grammar Cops'
 *   ONG, 'Doctors Without Boarders'

In a Festival of firsts for the global network, Ogilvy & Mather became the first agency to win over 100 Lions, with a total of 155, smashing its own record of 82, which it set in 2012. Ogilvy & Mather also won its first ever Creative Effectiveness Award for Ogilvy Sydney's 'Share a Coke' campaign, and was crowned Network of the Year 2013 at the Cannes Lions closing ceremony, retaining its title for the second year.
