Johnson & Johnson Selects OgilvyOne and Neo@Ogilvy for Vision Care brand

SHANGHAI, 9 June 2010 – OgilvyOne and Neo@Ogilvy in Shanghai have been appointed as the digital marketing agency for Johnson & Johnson’s Vision Care brand, Acuvue Define. After a competitive pitch involving two other international agencies, OgilvyOne and Neo@Ogilvy were awarded the assignment which will see OgilvyOne driving the overall digital communication planning, creative and production while Neo@Ogilvy will oversee digital media planning and buying.

Acuvue Define are beauty circle contact lenses that enhance the wearer’s appearance by making their eyes appear larger and more defined. OgilvyOne and Neo@Ogilvy will develop an effective online platform that will drive awareness, understanding and excitement for the Acuvue Define lenses, and most importantly, drive consumers to the in-store trials where they can experience Acuvue Define lenses firsthand.

“We were really excited about the unique partnership service offering through OgilvyOne and Neo@Ogilvy,” said Tian Zhang, Digital Marketing Manager, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care. “Being able to hire one agency to drive both creative and media integration was definitely a deciding factor for us and will certainly simplify things in the day to day. We were also impressed with their demonstrated creativity throughout the entire pitch process, and know that this team can deliver something out of the ordinary for Acuvue Define.”

“We are delighted to extend our relationship with Johnson & Johnson in Shanghai with the addition of the Acuvue Define assignment. The digital space is the ideal environment to reach and engage fashion and beauty conscious Chinese consumers,” said Chris Reitermann, President of OgilvyOne China and Ogilvy & Mather Group Shanghai.
