NEW YORK, June 2, 2009 – Greg Smith, COO, Neo@Ogilvy North America, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of BPA Worldwide, the global consumer and business media audits provider.
BPA Worldwide audits provide assurance, insight and advantage to consumer and business-to-business media owners and media buyers in more than 25 countries. The organization serves more than 2,500 online and offline media properties and over 2,600 advertiser and agency members.
Founded in 1931 by a group of advertisers, publishers and agencies, BPA Worldwide is an independent, not-for-profit, self-regulating organization based in Shelton, CT, that is governed by a tripartite Board of Directors. The Board, which sets auditing rules and organizational policies and oversees operations, is comprised of 17 advertiser and advertising agency representatives and 15 publication representatives.
In his new role, Smith brings deep knowledge and insight into the digital media world, an area of increasing importance to the organization.
