PARIS, FRANCE, July 16, 2010 - Ogilvy Paris announces the arrival of Creative Director Simon Mogren, a native of Sweden and highly regarded digital creative director and this year’s Cannes winner of 4 Lions, including the Cyber Grand Prix for Volkswagen’s Thefuntheory.com.
Simon Mogren will join Ogilvy Paris as Director of Creation with key responsibilities on IBM. He will work in collaboration with Susan Westre (Director of Global Creation IBM) and Fabio Costa (Creative Director of OgilvyOne Paris) across all agency accounts. Inspired by the philosophy of Ogilvy & Mather’s belief in big creative ideas, Simon hopes to transmit this insatiable curiosity that digital media can open up, as well as its ability to get consumers and brands to interact.
Simon Mogren began his career in 1998, freelancing in Stockholm, Sweden notably for Spray Network, Razorfish, and Icon Medialab. He joined The Bearded Lady DDB in 2002, as Digital Artistic Director. In 2004, Simon guided digital direction with DDB Stockholm and was made Director of Digital Creation for Tribal DDB Stockholm.
