Ogilvy Hosts Reception in Honor of NAACP's 100th Anniversary

Ogilvy to Support NAACP NY Chapter and Internship Program; Pop Icon Kathy Sledge to Perform

Ogilvy & Mather New York will host a reception commemorating the 100th anniversary of the NAACP at its new headquarters "Roof Top" at 636 11th Avenue from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, July 13th.

The reception will feature musical pop icon Kathy Sledge solo artist and member of the revolutionary "Sister Sledge" group. Expected attendees include the Reverend Al Sharpton, Hazel Dukes, President NAACP New York State Conference, and leading local officials including Michael Benjamin, NY Assembly and Leticia James, New York City Council Member.

The reception will feature comments by Reverend Sharpton and Hazel Dukes. Ogilvy North America Chairman John Seifert will present Hazel Dukes with a corporate contribution to the NAACP New York Chapter and will also announce the formalization of a high school summer internship program with the NAACP of New York.
