Dubai, 9 January 2010 - OgilvyAction MENA, the brand activation network of the Memac Ogilvy Group, announces the promotion of Robin Smith, to the newly created position of Regional Creative Director OgilvyAction for the Middle East and North Africa. Smith will now oversee the OgilvyAction Network’s entire creative product in the region including offices in Bahrain, Beirut, Cairo, Jeddah, Tunis, Riyadh and Dubai.

Robin Smith previously was Creative Director at OgilvyAction Dubai, a position he held for three years. Under his leadership, the Dubai team developed award-winning ideas like the BP Visco‘s Dustvertising campaign which won the Grand Prix at the Dubai Lynx 2010 in the Direct & Sales Promotion category as well as 2 Gold Effie’s for the launch of Ponds in 2009.
To continue to elevate the creative profile and output of OgilvyAction Dubai, Ben Knight has been promoted to the position of Creative Director - OgilvyAction, UAE. Knight has been with the agency in Dubai for 2 years having transferred from OgilvyAction UK.
