Ogilvy CommonHealth NANO is a full-service, integrated healthcare agency with services and processes that provide smaller client companies with customized marketing experiences across the landscapes of pharma, biotech, devices, diagnostics, OTCs, and digital health. An agency carved from the robust Ogilvy CommonHealth Medical Marketing client roster, Ogilvy CommonHealth NANO harnesses the intensity, ethos, and speed of a startup with the depth of innovation, creative talent, and resources available within the Ogilvy network.
Leading the new agency will be newly appointed general manager Peter Rooney. An OCHWW veteran of 11 years, Mr. Rooney ascends to the position from his prior role within the organization as EVP, director of client services for Ogilvy CommonHealth Medical Marketing. Mr. Rooney will report directly to Darlene Dobry, an OCHWW managing partner.
Ms. Dobry explained the rationale for the creation of Ogilvy CommonHealth NANO and the appointment of Mr. Rooney: "As we continue to diversify our client roster, we recognize the need to adapt our business approach with these small to midsize healthcare companies. In a related move, as Ms. Dobry prepares to further evolve her managing partner role within OCHWW, Ogilvy CommonHealth's Medical Marketing group, previously under her direct management, will now be run by general manager Andy Willmer, who has tenured with the agency since 2013. Mr. Willmer comes to the position from his prior role as EVP, director of client services.
Ms. Dobry noted, "When I was looking to focus more on my broader role within OCHWW, Andy was the ideal choice to oversee the Medical Marketing group in my stead. He has the knowledge, the capability, and the drive for excellence that is needed in someone in that position. He's more than earned the trust of our clients and understands the needs that are unique to each of the larger, agency-of-record brands which will remain within the Ogilvy CommonHealth Medical Marketing group."
