NEW YORK, NY, February 17, 2011 – Ogilvy & Mather today announced the full time return of Jan Leth to the company as Global Digital Creative Director.
Since joining Ogilvy in 1996, Leth has been building and extending interactive and digital strategic expertise throughout the entire agency. A pioneer and widely respected practitioner in the world of digital creative, he has won every major industry award, most famously, the first ever Cyber Lion Grand Prix for IBM's e-Business campaign back in 1999. He has also been instrumental in helping the agency win numerous new business pitches by impressing prospects with its digital creative prowess, most recently Louis Vuitton.
In making the announcement, Brian Fetherstonhaugh, Chairman and CEO OgilvyOne Worldwide and Tham Khai Meng, Worldwide Creative Director Ogilvy & Mather said, “Jan has inspired and led our digital creative work for the last 14 years, the past year in a part-time capacity because he wanted to spend more time at his home in Maine. Luring Jan back to a full-time position at Ogilvy is a true coup for us all. He helped drive our digital transformation to the wonderful position of strength we are in today. We are excited and grateful to have him back on board 100 percent to help us continue that journey. “
As Global Digital Creative Director, Leth’s primary focus will be on clients. He will continue as a vital member of the Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide Creative Council and work on digital assignments across the whole company.
