Ogilvy Invests in Hungary with New Leadership Team

BUDAPEST, February 18, 2010 – Alex Herdt, CEO Ogilvy Central and Eastern Europe, has announced a strengthening of Ogilvy’s leadership team in Hungary with the appointment of a new CEO and an additional Executive Creative Director.

alles, rustMartin Alles, originally from Germany, is the new CEO of Ogilvy Hungary and Ukraine. Martin has been with Ogilvy for 13 years. As manager of Ogilvy Ukraine he built the firm into one of the most creative agencies in the CEE region; he also was responsible for Ogilvy Russia from 2001-2003.

Andrea Petro Dickinson, following her great contribution to the agency’s success in recent years, and effective management during the current economic crisis, has left the agency to pursue a career as a consultant.

Meanwhile, Will Rust has been appointed to the newly-created role of Executive Creative Director of Ogilvy in Hungary and Ukraine. He will work with Ferenc Benesch, who joined the agency as Creative Director 6 months ago. British-born Will worked in Ogilvy Prague for 5 years as Creative Director, before joining Martin Alles at Ogilvy Ukraine in 2008. Will has won several local and international awards for both creativity and effectiveness.
