Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific picked up nine awards at last night’s 2010 Agency of the Year Awards, hosted by Campaign Asia.
In the Southeast Asia sub regional category Ogilvy & Mather Singapore picked up three of the most converted prizes including the prestigious ‘2010 Creative Agency of the Year’ accolade, while OgilvyOne Singapore picked up ‘2010 Digital Agency of the Year/ Southeast Asia’, and Stephen Mangham, Chairman, Ogilvy & Mather Singapore was named ‘2010 Agency Head of the Year/ Southeast Asia’.
Ogilvy & Mather India became the number one creative agency in the India & Subcontinent sub regional category when it was crowned ‘2010 Creative Agency of the Year’, while Kawal Shoor, President of Planning, claimed the title of ‘2010 Account Person of the Year.’
Shenan Chuang, CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Greater China was named ‘2010 Agency Head of the Year’ while Anthony Wong, Managing Director of Global Brand Management Ogilvy & Mather China, was named ‘2010 Account Person of the Year’ in the Greater China sub-regional category.
In the North Asia sub regional category, Kent Wertime, President Ogilvy & Mather Japan,was named ‘2010 Agency Head of the Year’. In the regional categories, OgilvyOne Asia Pacific claimed the runner-up position in the ‘2010 Digital Agency of the Year’ competition.
In addition, Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific was short-listed across five other categories.
Now in it’s 17th year, Campaign’s Agency of the Year competition recognizes inspired leadership, management excellence, outstanding business performance and overall achievements in advertising and communications industry in Asia Pacific. The new sub-regional categories allow local offices and individuals to compete within their sub regions. Last nights awards gala was held in Singapore.
