ASIA PACIFIC, 30 November, 2009 – Neo@Ogilvy Asia Pacific has named Pete Mitchell as the Regional Strategy Director, effective December 1, 2009. Based in Bangkok, he will report directly to Susana Tsui, President, Neo@Ogilvy Asia Pacific.

In his new role, Pete’s key focus is to add a strategic approach to Neo@Ogilvy’s digital media planning capabilities and to oversee the integration of Neo@Ogilvy into Ogilvy’s 360-degree offering. Part of his remit is to drive digital innovation and use of emerging media platforms in the region. His portfolio will also include leading the region in performance media initiative (search, performance-based marketing, affiliate marketing, mobile network advertising), as well as building the regional client portfolio.
Pete was most recently the APAC Regional Digital Director at Universal McCann; prior to that, he was the APAC Regional Interactive Strategy Director at Initiative. He has 20 years media agency experience in EMEA and APAC, 10 of those in digital strategic planning within both regions.
