FRANKFURT AM MAIN, 16 August 2011 -- Ogilvy & Mather Germany has hired Christoph Isenbürger, previously Marketing Director for Puma in the Asia Pacific Region, as MD for the Frankfurt Ogilvy & Mather Advertising office.
Isenbürger starts on 1st September 2011 and will lead the largest German Ogilvy unit, together with its Head of Creative, Dr. Stephan Vogel. He will also be appointed to the Frankfurt management team and the German Board reporting directly to CEO Thomas Strerath.
Christoph Isenbürger was Marketing Director for Puma Asia Pacific and responsible for regional brand management and brand positioning in the region. In his three years at the helm, the Puma brand was repositioned as a sports lifestyle brand. He also worked with Ogilvy & Mather in Asia and so is familiar with the agency culture. Before his stint in Asia, Christoph Isenbürger was Marketing Director Europe for Puma AG. Previous employers include Carat Munich, Nike Deutschland, Reemtsma Hungary and BBDO New York.
