Ogilvy Hong Kong Promotions Reflect Drive for Effectiveness and Creativity

HONG KONG, April 6, 2010 – With immediate effect, Paul Matheson and Jerry Smith are appointed to the joint regional leadership of Ogilvy's strategy and planning community in Asia Pacific.  This will be the epicenter of our evolution as we re-shape the Ogilvy Group to deliver more value to help our clients grow and prosper in the new world post recession.

This will amplify the growing demand to assist our clients in developing marketing strategy – our Consulting Services practice has seen a double digit CAGR for the past eight years – rather than just creating "shot gun" marketing communications.

Paul has been with Ogilvy since 2005 and was previously AP Regional Planning Director. Jerry has been with Ogilvy in Asia since 2000 and has held a number of management positions including Head of Business Consulting Services.
