Ogilvy Foundation establishes Rodrigo Wurmser Scholarship

The Ogilvy Foundation has established a scholarship in the name of Rodrigo Wurmser, the late son of General Manager and President of O&M Guatemala, Juan Mauricio Wurmser. Rodrigo was Director of the activation arm of O&M Guatemala at the time of his death, and the scholarship created in his name and memory covers tuition and fees for a 5-year degree in Graphic Design, Communications and Advertising at Universidad del Istmo in Guatemala for two students.

The Foundation is proud to support young, high-potential talent such as Maria José Villalba, who has been named the first recipient of the Rodrigo Wurmser Scholarship. The scholarship award ceremony, which was attended by the Wurmser family, the Villalba family, key faculty members of UNIS, and members of the local media, took place on March 17, 2015.
