I am Global Digital Creative Director, and I have been with Ogilvy since December 2, 1996. (I tried to join several times before and was always rejected. One must be persistent.)

I have the best job because, while I am based in New York, I work on almost every client, in almost every region and primarily in the medium that is the first truly global one. The diversity of solutions available and the relentless evolution of this medium is incredibly stimulating, if a bit intimidating even for one who spends all day on it. 

There have been many, many career highlights for me, beginning with Steve Hayden sidling up to me at an IBM meeting in early 1996 and suggesting I join Ogilvy. I nearly you-know-what. But sitting in the audience as we won the very first Cannes Grand Prix for Cyber wasn't too shabby either.

My favorite David Ogilvy quote is: "Do not summon people to your office. It frightens them. Instead, go to see them in their offices."
