I am Worldwide Executive Director and the Chairman of Ogilvy & Mather Europe, Middle East & Africa, and I have been with Ogilvy since 1985.
Europe, Middle East and Africa is unique in that it has a mature, slow-growth core in Western Europe but faster-growth areas around the perimeter, in the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe, although these areas are prone to greater instability and volatility.
This a time of great excitement, innovation and opportunity in all of our businesses. But to do well, we need to reinvent our domain skills for the new world, as well as develop new models of partnership and collaboration both within and outside the borders of our companies.
My time as CEO of OgilvyOne London stands out as a career highlight at Ogilvy, as I was able to work with a superbly talented and entertaining team of people to really turn the business around after the impact of the dotcom bubble.
